Two Research Grants Available
LRSEF is committed to increasing the science fair participation of under-represented minority (URM)* and low-income** students. To boost URM-science-fair participation, LRSEF is offering two research grants to eligible schools or students. Both grants are funded by LRSEF’s Amazon Innovation Grant.
School Equipment Grant
The School Equipment Grant Program (School Equipment Grant) awards up to $800 that is used to purchase science fair supplies and equipment. The equipment purchased from the School Equipment Grant must be used for student research by URM and low-income students with the goal of having these students present at the LRSEF in March 2024.
