Owen Park, Saint Francis of Assisi student and LRSEF participant has been selected as a top 30 finalist in the national Thermo Fisher Junior Innovators Challenge.
Owen was selected among 1,890 applicants nationally and will compete in Washington, DC for the top award of $25,000 from October 24 – 29 after a rigorous competition that will test their abilities in STEM, critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration. Saint Francis of Assisi celebrated Owen’s accomplishment and invited LRSEF representatives to speak about his achievements. Owen won a Junior Best of Fair prize at LRSEF 2025 for his project A Breakthrough In Low-Voltage Regolith Mitigation.
