LRSEF Receives $5K Grant from the Cralle Foundation

The Louisville Regional Science and Engineering Fair has received notice that The Cralle Foundation will be supporting the 50th Anniversary fair with a generous grant of $5,000.  These funds will be used to increase the student and school awards by 50% in this our 50th year.  “We are extremely pleased at the continuing support of The Cralle Foundation and their interest in improving the awards for outstanding students and teachers from the eleven county regional that we serve” said Theresa Mattei, LRSEF President.

For the March 8, 2014 LRSEF we will be increasing our total award fund for all 17 categories at both the Junior and Senior levels from $5,000 to $7,500.  We will also be increasing our fund for school awards from $1,000 to $2,500.  We select three winning schools from both middle & high schools, the cash awards are used by the schools to improve their STEM programs.  Without the support of local sponsors and supporters, this level of recognition would not be possible.
