The Intel ISEF 2019 Grand Awards were announced on May 17, 2019. Team Kentucky, represented by 24 students from across the state, took home 14 total awards.
LRSEF alum Rachel Spaulding, Eastern High School, won 4th place in the Energy: Physical Sciences category for her project, Solar Updraft Tower-Wind Turbine Hybrid: Maximizing Power Output through Vortex Shedding, Water Droplet Atomization and Arduino Servo Control Feedback Loop.
