Five LRSEF students joined Team Kentucky at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair in Phoenix, AZ May 9 – 15. They joined students from across the state and were accompanied by LRSEF chaperone Glenda Jones. You can check out their projects in the virtual fair using the project codes below.
- Gopalaniket Tadinada (EMBM035) – North Oldham High School.
- Leah Chen (CHEM028) – Gatton Academy of Science & Mathematics
- Bailey Kaiser (ENEV031) – Ballard High School
- Jiwoo Kim (CeLL018) – Gatton Academy of Science & Mathematics
- Sophia Lee (ETSD055) – Louisville Collegiate School
- Shreethan Palla (SFTD029) – North Oldham High School




Special congratulations to the LRSEF students who were awarded for their projects:
- Sophia Lee of Louisville Collegiate School won a special award from the Adam R. Scripps Foundation and $10,000.
- Gopalaniket Tadinada, North Oldham High School, took home 2nd place and $2,400 in the Biomedical Engineering category.
- Jiwoo Kim, Gatton Academy of Mathematics & Science, was awarded 3rd place and $1,200 in the Cellular and Molecular Biology category.
